The move will eliminate certain ''nonstrategic product lines and reduction of excess manufacturing capacity,'' the company said.

Dragon Introduces Voice 'Typewriter'

LEAD: A Massachusetts technology company introduced what it said was the first commercially viable ''typewriter'' that operates by human speech instead of touch. Dragon Systems Inc. in Newton said its Dragon Dictate had a basic vocabulary of 30,000 words, with an 80,000-word dictionary built in as a backup, and could print out more than 40 words a minute when operated by an experienced user.

Coke's operating profits as a percentage of sales in the slow-growing American market eased to 11.6 percent in 1989, from 11.8 percent the previous year, the report said.
